

Clyde Jones, past Vice President, Chief Diversity Officer for ADP, has over 25 years HR experience in the professional services, pharmaceutical, and chemical businesses. Mr. Jones has held various leadership capacities in Human Resources, Diversity, Work/Life, Organizational Effectiveness, Labor Relations, and EEO/AAP. In his leadership roles he has focused on developing and driving corporate wide strategic initiatives designed to achieve business goals.
Clyde assumed his current leadership role at ADP in July, 2006. In this role he is responsible for the design, implementation and management of diversity strategies across ADP. This will include being accountable for providing strong, effective leadership, direction and professional expertise in building the framework for the company’s first significant corporate diversity initiative. Mr. Jones joined ADP after spending 7 years with KPMG, LLP in various HR leadership roles. In his last assignment with KPMG he was the National Director, Diversity & EEO/AAP.
In this role he was responsible for leading the firm’s efforts in the area of Diversity. Responsibilities included taking the lead role in maintaining and expanding relationships with organizations such as the National Association of Black Accountants, Catalyst, the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting, National Asian American Society of Accountants and the AICPA Minority Initiatives Committee. Clyde’s previous position was National Director, Policies & Procedures where he was responsible for creating knowledge channels that serve to identify emerging trends and issues to equip HR professionals at KPMG with the knowledge, tools, and information necessary to better meet HR needs.

Clyde and his wife Sherra have two children, Chad and Jasmyn. He is a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Morristown where he is a member of the Deacon Board and is active in several other ministries. He sits on the boards of several national and community based non profit organizations and is an active member in various professional organizations.
Clyde received his BA from South Carolina State University and a MS in Human Resource Management from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
